Isometric illustration of a small workshop where people craft helpful digital tools

Sftware as a slutin.

Multimod brings AI into the way your team already works, automating the busywork that drains the week so your people get their hours back. Specialized in biotech, effective in any business, and built by a scientist who spent seven years at the bench. The software runs on your own hardware, and your data stays yours.

How Multimod helps

First, find the hours.

Most teams sense that AI could give them hours back. What they're missing is someone who understands both the work and the software. That's the gap Multimod fills. Every engagement starts the same way: a small, fixed-price assessment built to pay for itself. Anything bigger gets built only if it earns its place.

Start here · The Workflow Assessment

Find five hours a week, or it costs you nothing.

A short, structured look at where your team's week actually goes, and a plan to win the hours back.

It starts with one conversation with your team. A week later you have a prioritized plan: the tools you can switch on immediately, the fixes worth building, and the honest math on every hour. Off-the-shelf where possible, custom only where nothing fits. The plan is yours to keep, whether or not we build together.

FIXED PRICE · QUOTED UP FRONT · ABOUT TWO WEEKS
STEP 01
One conversation

Forty-five minutes with your team, mapping where the week goes.

STEP 02
One week of analysis

Every bottleneck priced in hours and matched to a fix.

STEP 03
One plan, yours to keep

Quick wins first. Bigger builds only if they earn it.

The guarantee

If the assessment can't find at least five hours a week worth reclaiming, you don't pay.

02

Custom Tools & Automation

For the fixes the assessment surfaces: instrument data into the ELN, batch-record review, the spreadsheet limbo between systems. Scoped, fixed-price, and made to run inside your quality system.

Embedded AI Engineer

For teams with more to build than one project. One or two days a week inside your team, building automations and training your people along the way. When you're ready to bring the role in-house, Multimod helps you hire and hand off.

MONTHLY · TWO TEAMS AT A TIME
Built in public

Multimod builds what it recommends.

The clearest credential is a product you can hold. Multimod's own tools live on the public App Store, where anyone can download them and judge the craft for themselves. And they follow the name: multimodal, one human sense at a time. Voice first, vision next, each built to quietly extend what people can do.

Voice

Verbex listens at the lab bench and turns spoken experiments into clean, structured records. It all happens on the device, and nothing goes to the cloud.

Vision

RepX Reset watches a workout, counts the reps, and keeps rest honest. No tapping, no scrolling.

Hi, I'm Deep Majithia.

I'm a bench scientist by training. I spent seven years in gene editing, close enough to the work to feel exactly where it slows down. The documentation. The transcription. The hours lost to software that was never built for the lab. So I started building the tools I wished I'd had, and Multimod grew out of that. First my own apps, and now work alongside the teams living those same problems.

Biotech is my focus and the world I know best, but the problem isn't unique to it. Every business has work that technology should be carrying and isn't. I'm glad to help any team, large or small, put AI to good use and win their time back. Multimod is a one-person studio today, and I like it that way. A couple of engagements at a time, each done properly.

AI can be a real force for good. Used with care, it takes the busywork off people and hands them back their time, for the work that actually matters.

That's the whole goal, and it should be within reach for everyone, not only the teams who can afford an expensive platform. So the software Multimod builds stays quiet and fair. It runs on your own hardware, keeps your data and your ideas in your hands, and never locks you in. The tool gets built, your team learns to run it, and you keep the keys. That belief held when Multimod made small consumer apps. It matters even more when the data is a decade of your life's work.

Find the hours your team is losing.

One short conversation is usually enough to spot the first few worth reclaiming. Worst case, you leave with a couple of tools you didn't know existed.
